Legendary Snow, Legendary Ski Resorts!

Vail, Beaver Creek, Aspen and Breckenridge- the list with ski resorts in Colorado is endless and best known around the globe. Located in the heart of the US the state features a skiing blast in the middle of the Rocky Mountains.

Thanks to the perfect location of the ‘Centennial State’ you’ll even find the resort with highest altitude in America. Grab the Imperial Express Super Chair in Breckenridge in order to reach the peak at 3,914 meters (12,841 feet). No other lift in North- America can hold a candle to this height. That’s not it, Colorado also scores with the biggest ski resorts around. The 2,140 ha big Vail or Keystone and Winterpark, both boasting 1,200 ha, will make all skiers happy that love to have space for themselves. Less popular but also great are Crested Butte and Telluride.

The super dry snow powder, the annual snowfall and 300 sunny days a year make Colorado an Eldorado for skiers. They also take their food pretty serious. The ‘farm-to-table’ dining experience can’t be missed by anyone. From Frankfurt you can take a non-stop flight to Denver, the capital of the state. The International Airport has flights arriving and departing from and to almost everywhere in the world.
