Several restaurants and mountain huts are spread across different elevations of the ski area. At Tuxer Fernerhaus, 2,660 metres above sea level, skiers can choose between a large self-service restaurant, the Panoramabar and the table-service Wirtshaus am Tuxer Ferner. Slightly lower down, Spannagelhaus serves Tyrolean cuisine and has a sunny terrace. Sommerbergalm and the seasonally operated Hochleger restaurant are located around Sommerberg. Tuxerjochhaus and Gletscherhütte complete the selection.
The dining options range from a quick self-service lunch to a relaxed meal with table service. Panoramic terraces, regional dishes and special experiences such as breakfast or a traditional cold platter served in a gondola add variety. However, the number of small, traditional ski huts is limited in relation to the size of the ski area. Not every venue remains open throughout the exceptionally long season.
