Steamboat - off-piste paradise in Colorado!

As aforementioned in the expert category, Steamboat Springs is a standout in terms of tree-skiing and free-ride terrain. And snowboarders are furthermore provided with a great terrain park. The park is located at the “Bashor” lift (see trail map) where snowboard aces can also find Mavericks Superpipe. A second smaller terrain park is located on the “Spike” trail at the “South Peak” lift. As aforementioned free ride and powder aces have an abundance of free ride terrain at their disposal. We recommend very skilled boarders to check out the terrain around the “Priest Creek Lift” below the 3221 m high Mt Werder (details see expert category). Intermediate boarders who prefer groomed to ungroomed terrain are better off at the “Sunshine Peak”. Snowboarding novices have the best beginner area in Colorado at their disposal, where believe it or not, 5 magic carpet lifts take the beginners up and around the terrain slopes.
