A quarter of all runs are classified 'easy'

With 108 hectares of easy trails, there's plenty for kids to explore and discover at Crested Butte. For their very first time on the snow we recommend the magic carpet at the base terminal of the Silver Queen Express lift. Then it's off to the relatively long but flat Houston, Poverty Gulch, Smith Hill and Peanut below the Red Lady Express lift. Parents hoping to explore the resort without attachments can check their kids between the ages of 4 and 12 into Camp CB at the base in the Whetstone building. Here's a tip: there's also a sort of „night-care“ at Camp CB, which allows you the opportunity to have dinner at a restaurant or get a taste of the Crested Butte night life.
