Pretty Good for Canadian Standards

Indeed, Big White is not considered Mecca of après-ski, however, we were pleasantly surprised by the options the ski resort boasts. Unlike many other Canadian ski resorts, the Village is home to a variety of pubs, bars, and clubs, where guests can shake a leg after a long day on the slopes.

Party until late in the night at Snowshoe Sam's. The pub is best known for its lively atmosphere addressing people who love to dance and party. Snowshoe Sam's was named Best Après-Ski Hot Spot in North America by both Ski Canada Magazine and Good Skiing & Snowboarding Guide. Session's is a go-to for anyone who wants to take things more easily and relaxed by enjoying some local brews.

Plus, there are some excellent pubs and bars to go explore in the village. Elevation 57 features a bar with craft beers from Canada's highest brewery at 5,700 feet (1.737 meters) above sea level. Compared to other Canadian ski resorts, Big White is the place to be. However, there is still room for improvement and a lot of catching-up to do when compared to international standards.
