Nice, Yet Not Outstanding Expert Skiing

Although, Big White is a nice ski resort for advanced skiers, it is not the first choice for experts, as it lacks variety of groomed black and double diamond runs, which can be counted on the fingers of one hand. Apart from that, Big White features a neat ungroomed section with a sufficient array of expert runs best suited for freeriders and lovers of tree-skiing.

Several mogul slopes, for instance on Dragon's Tongue or Camel's Back, is what awaits you when considering heading to Big White as an advanced or expert skier. The Cliff area on the east side of the mountain offers some short and sweet options for experts. Gem Lake Express serves the longest black runs on the ski resort. The double diamond run Playground Trail is not as doable as its name implies.

However, there could be a lot more options for experts and adrenaline junkies. The focus here is laid mainly on families and on guests skiing for pleasure – both of which will find many wonderful wide open runs of which 22% are designated advanced runs and 6% for expert skiers.
