One of the best family friendly terrain in Australia!

Falls Creek is a very nice place for families to spend their winter holidays. As mentioned in the beginners` category, there is plenty of gentle terrain at the exit of Falls Express chairlift, which can be explored by the entire family. The beginners` area is situated there too. At the base station of the Summit quad lift and Eagle chairlift a special snow-tubing area called “The Tube” is installed. If the grown ups want to tap the whole potential of the skiing-area, it is recommendable to drop off the kids at the Kids Snowsports Centre, which can also be found at the mountain station of Falls Express. There the kids can play in the theme park and are introduced to the world of snow sports in a fun and playful manner by trained staff. If your kids are already confident on skis or board don’t hesitate to explore the entire intermediate slopes as they are not too demanding and quite short. But we recommend families with smaller kids not to ski the steeps leading down next to the Summit chairlift and International t-bar lift.
