Falls Creek – the place to be for novices

Falls Creek is the perfect place for beginners to take their first try at sliding down the mountain. A huge beginner friendly terrain can be found right at the top of the Falls Express chair lift. First timers should check out the mousetrap undercover beginner lift. A magic carpet lift covered by a glass tunnel that keeps you warm and dry. Once you have mastered your “first steps on snow” we recommend you check out the Wombat´s Ramble slope, Australia´s longest beginner run! Of course there are also plenty of fun filled opportunities once you have improved your skills. We recommend beginners to ski all slopes leading down from the mountain station of Falls Express to the Rocky Valley Lake (Panorama, Drover´s Dream, Rapunzel´s). The gentle terrain there is perfect for gaining confidence on skis or board. At the same time you can treat yourself to one of the greatest views in Australian ski resorts, when looking across the Rocky Valley Lake to the mountains beyond.
