Permanent racing track and beautiful off-piste terrain!

On an international scale New Zealand’s ski resort are not among the largest, however they leave nothing to be desired for very skilled skiers and off-piste fans. For quite some time now, “Coronet Peak” is among the first choice ski resorts for international top athletes during training period in the northern hemisphere summer months. Therefore a permanent racing course the “Race Arena” is situated right by the “Rocky Gully” T-bar lift. And all those that prefer powder to groomed terrain can plunge into deep snow in the “Back Bowls” the free-ride area at the “Coronet Express Chair”. (“the Remarkables Resort provides even more free-ride terrain!). Although Coronet Peak is not among the largest ski resorts it obtains the excellent result of 4,5 out of 5 stars in the expert category due to the great array of expert terrain!
