Great array of terrain for skilled skiers!!

Intermediate level terrain (earmarked blue) amounts to about 45% of Coronet`s descents. Skilled leisure skiers that really enjoy beautifully groomed terrain will ad “Coronet Peak” to their favourite list of ski resorts in New Zealand. The sextuple “Greengate Express” as well as the “Coronet Express Chair” gives access to an abundance of terrain designated to skilled winter athletes. These slopes also allow the most gorgeous views of the (mostly) green valleys of the “Southern Alps”. “The Hurdle”, “Donkey Serenade” and “Ego Alley” (see trail map) are some beautiful expert descents that will challenge any skilled skiers. The “Back Bowls” located at the mountain station of the “Coronet Express Chair” is terrain that should be left to only those that love to plunge into deep powder snow (keep in mind danger of avalanches). Coronet Peaks narrowly misses the highest mark and receives excellent 4,5 stars in the intermediate category.
