Practicing area right at the base!

The so called “Nice `n Easy Platter” tow lift and the magic carpet lift give access to the beautiful beginners area right at the base of the “Volkswagen 6 Seater Express”. Beginners can practice unhindered and then conquer the easy trails (marked green) “Easy Rider” and “Kea`s Crossing”. Those that have obtained base knowledge in snow-sports can also give the intermediate “Main Street” and “Big Skite” trails a try. The entire terrain including the intermediate level slopes in the “Saddle Basin” however should be left to good skiers only. In comparison to other large ski resorts in the Region around Queenstown ("Cardrona", "Coronet Peak" und "The Remarkables") “Treble Cone is slightly more challenging. Beginners therefore might be better off at another ski resorts before venturing into the demanding terrain at “Treble Cone”!
