20 percent beginner slopes and three carpet lifts for first-timers!

Mt Buller offers a great array of opportunities for unskilled skiers to improve their skills. The best playground for first-timers are the easy slopes Baldy, Playground and Bourke Street, that can easily be accessed by the quad chair lifts Blue Bullet 1 and Blue Bullet 2 where you can find very gentle terrain right next to the Mt Buller Ski & Snowboard School which provides lessons to all ages and stages. Of course beginners won’t be able to tap the whole potential of Mt Buller ski resort. The southern slopes of the resort are either marked as difficult (black) or intermediate (blue). The northern slopes next to Boggy Creek double chair are a bit easier and could be skied by beginners as long as they have had some experience on skis. Our test team awards Mt Buller three stars out of five in the beginners category.
