Loveland – an insider Tipp for expert skiers!

Very skilled skiers should definitely NOT miss visiting Loveland when spending a ski holiday in Colorado. A total of 46 % of Loveland`s terrain is earmarked black (difficult). An absolute peak value in the “Expert” category. Especially off-piste aces get their moneys worth. “Chair 9” takes winter athletes up to 3860m above sea level and accesses the “Continental Divide”. The nicest pristine trails can only be accessed if you are willing to make an effort! From “Chair 9” the doorway to powder takes you afoot along the mountain ridge to the “Double Diamond Powder Runs” e.g “Super Bowl” or “Wild Child”. Those not willing to take on the hike will find beautiful powder runs and moguls at chair one like "Over The Rainbow", "Zoom" or "Avalanche Bowl". There are also often training courses to be found in Loveland however a permant racing track is missing. Loveland obtains excellent 4 out of 5 stars in the expert category.
