Athletic skiers will find no shortage of challenges!

A quick look at Leukerbad and Albinen's trail map and their 25 kilometers of red and 17 kilometers of black trails, and even more athletic skiers know they're in for a challenge. And the view of the nearby Balmhorn (3699m above sea level) and other surrounding Valais peaks, out to France and Italy, certainly won't disappoint them either! Unfortunately, 8 of the 14 lifts are outdated t-bars, which doesn't exactly make the trip up to the upper terminals a comfortable one. The gondolas leading to the ski area from the base terminals in Leukerbad (1411m) and Flaschen (1540m), however, are quite modern.

There's something for every skier on the torrent: Difficult and steep slopes and blue runs. A unique experience is to look from the highest point into the Rhone Valley and then drive down the FIS slope. fantastic!
