With around 35 kilometers of slopes, Saas-Grund is certainly not one of the large ski resorts in Switzerland, but for shorter stays or for families it is definitely worth a visit. The ski area Saas-Grund - Hohsaas offers a nice practice area for children, wonderful red slopes for carving and can also convince with snow safety.
The impressive scenery is also a plus. From the Hohsaas mountain station, you have a great view of numerous four-thousand-meter peaks, including the Dom, the highest mountain in Switzerland, directly opposite. The neighboring ski resort of Saas-Fee is also easy to see.
