Familiy-friendly area at Kreuzboden

Saas-Grund is definitely recommended for families. Ski courses are offered for children as young as 3 years old. In the Pipoclub next to the Kreuzboden station, the little ones playfully learn the first basics of snow sports in a child-friendly environment. After taking their first steps, they can head to the practice slope in the Snowland, which is reached by a magic carpet.

Since the blue slopes are located exclusively at Kreuzboden, kids can be sent off on their own when they are already a bit older. Nobody can get lost in the clearly laid out ski area.

If the offspring is still too small for the slopes, children from the age of 2 can be looked after in the Hohsi-Nest nursery at Kreuzboden, while the parents enjoy a free day of skiing. Childcare is offered by the hour as well as by the day. At Kidsweeks Hohsaas, the ski school also offers special deals for families.

Families will also find what they are looking for off the slopes. In Saas-Grund, an 11-kilometer toboggan run awaits, leading from Kreuzboden into the village. Sleds can be rented at the mountain railroads.
