What speaks for Saas-Grund in the area of freeriding is certainly the snow reliability and the altitude. Around the Lagginjoch and the Trift glacier there are definitely freeride possibilities. There is even an official ski route on the glacier (Hohkraut Yellow).
Another route leads from the valley descent (Bodmen) in the direction of Saas-Balen. However, we did not see a freeride info point during our visit. On request, the Saas-Grund ski school offers private lessons for freeriding.
