Below you will find a number of different ways to get to your hotel in Maria Alm by car from different directions, so that you can reach your hotel as quickly as possible and enjoy your holiday to the full.
Hotel in Maria Alm: From direction Munich
Option 1 without Austrian motorway vignette: On the German motorway A9 from Munich in the direction of Salzburg to the exit Inzell, then via Lofer and Saalfelden to Maria Alm. die HOCHKÖNIGIN - Mountain Resort is located 50 m after entering Maria Alm on the left hand side.
Variant 2 also without Austrian motorway vignette: On the German motorway A9 from Munich continue in the direction of Salzburg until the motorway junction Inntal. Now continue towards Kufstein, take the exit Oberaudorf, then via Walchsee and Kössen to St. Johann in Tirol. From there you continue via Lofer and Saalfelden to Maria Alm. Die HOCHKÖNIGIN - Mountain Resort is located 50 m after entering Maria Alm on the left hand side.
Please note that there is a toll obligation on Austrian motorways. (from Kufstein)
The required vignette can be obtained at border crossings and in tobacco shops.
Hotel in Maria Alm: From Vienna
On the A1 motorway from Vienna via Linz to Salzburg. Change to the A10 direction Bischofshofen. Exit Bischofshofen, continue in the direction of St. Johann and Zell am See. Continue to Saalfelden, in the village turn left to Maria Alm. Alternatively, take the Bischhofshofen exit and continue via Mühlbach am Hochkönig and the Dientner Sattel towards Dienten. Continue over the Filzensattel to Hinterthal and Maria Alm.
Hotel in Maria Alm: From direction Graz
Take the A9 motorway until exit 69/Selzthal. Continue on the B320 Ennstal-Bundesstraße towards Schladming/Liezen/Radstadt. At the roundabout take the third exit B320/Gesäusestraße towards Salzburg/Schladming. Continue on the B99/E651 Katschberg-Bundesstraße. Take the A10 motorway via the Salzburg/Eben slip road. Continue on the A10 to the Pongau junction, continue on the B311 Pinzgauer Bundesstraße in the direction of St. Johann i. Pongau/Zell am See. Take the exit towards B159/B164 Hochkönig Bundesstraße, continue to Maria Alm.
Alternatively, take the Bischhofshofen exit and continue via Mühlbach am Hochkönig and the Dientner Sattel towards Dienten. Continue via the Filzensattel to Hinterthal and Maria Alm.
Hotel in Maria Alm: Arrival by train
The nearest train station is Saalfelden, for ICE and express trains Zell am See. Continue your journey to Maria Alm by bus or taxi.
