Völkl Rise High 88 (Backcountry Touring Ski 2023/2024)

Product Summary

The Völkl Rise High 88 is the perfect tool during both downhill rides and steep ascents. Thanks to its low weight, the ski is easy to master even on longer trips. The Völkl Rise High 88's full retail price is €700. The Ski costs roughly €90 more than the average price of all Backcountry Touring Skis, making it an upper mid-range model. Skilled skiers will enjoy both relaxed cruising and pushing the ski to its limit. The Rise High 88 is a more off-piste oriented ski which rides great in deep powder. Thanks to its versatility however, it is also fun on groomers from time to time. Available lengths for the ski are ranging between 160 and 180cm.

The ski in details

An ultra-light full carbon ski for the experienced ski tourer.

The Rise High 88 with a full carbon jacket offers a fantastic weight-performance ratio and optimum stability. Despite weighing in at just 1,065 g (@ 170 cm), it offers great durability on long, demanding tours in high alpine terrain, making it ideal for experienced ski mountaineers.
