Powder touring skis with a 3D radius sidecut for stunning downhill performance.
The Rise Beyond 96 is available in five different lengths. With its tip rocker, the widest model in our touring collection delivers fantastic flotation, even on the softest powder descents. A hybrid, multi-layer wood core in combination with a carbon tip shovel enables a very light (1,262 g @ 170 cm) and resilient build, which makes these skis a reliable partner on long ascents. Thanks to its 3D radius construction, this lively ski is a pleasure to use on wide, open powder turns and in narrow passages where agility is required.
The Smart Skin Clip attachment system is compatible with both Fibre Tech and Smart Glue skins.

SMART SKINCLIP
The newly developed Smart Skinclip system allows the ski tourer to decide for himself, depending on the situation, in which direction he should pull the skin on and off. A standard snap hook at the tail end of the ski allows the skin to be attached and detached from behind. The skin can, however, also be pulled on and off quickly and easily from the front. This new flexibility is made possible by an elastic snap hook, which is also easy to grip with gloves. A subtle depression in the ski tip gives the hook lateral guidance and prevents it from unintentionally releasing the skin while walking.
MULTILAYER WOODCORE LITE
The combination of light beech and poplar results in a very durable woodcore composed of hard wood in the binding area and - due to its dedicated slots - lighter wood around.

At the 2022/2023 WorldSkitest the skis in the category „Touring Men 2 - 90 to 97mm“ were closely evaluated. Tester’s opinion: "The "Rise Beyond 96" from "Völkl" keeps up well with the competition and convinces above all with its excellent running smoothness. The handling of the skins was not entirely convincing and was rated lower, which affects the overall rating. However, our testers unanimously agreed that this ski is particularly enjoyable on long turns."
