Terrain Parks 7 / 10
Overall: 80 / 100
  • Obstacles for beginners and experts
  • Adequate set-up in the terrain park
  • Lift to the terrain park
  • One or more terrain parks available

Freestyle features for all skill levels

Helm is probably the best port of call for freestyle skiers and snowboarders. The Drei Zinnen terrain park extends across the mountain between the Helm chairlift and the Hahnspiel surface lift. Aside from offering pretty incredible views of the surrounding Sextner Dolomites, the terrain park is split into two zones:
    •    KIDS learn Park
    •    EASY/MEDIUM Park

While the KIDS learn Park with table woops line and other simple obstacles is the ideal stomping ground for rookies, more experienced freestyle riders can hone their skills at the EASY/MEDIUM Park. Obstacles include a jump, table and several boxes. Sexten Dolomites impressed us in this category with a varied setup, good lift connections and daily shaping work.

    Little Funpark at Haunold!

Unfortunately a funpark is missing from the ski mountain helmet!
Snowboarders, who are mostly on the slopes, will find four chess helmet super wide piste highways at the mountain station of the gondola lift. Here, huge swings can be drawn into the snow without g... Read complete review

    Unfortunately no Fun park!
Snowboarders, who prefer to take their turns in the snow, find the ideal possibilities to do so with the demanding valley "Rotwand" (No. 3) and the black piste "Giant" (No. 3a, 3b). The wide red do... Read complete review
