Free avalanche practice zone in Stiergarten

There are no designated routes or special information boards for freeride skiers in the ski area. However there is an avalanche practice camp close to the Stiergarten mountain station, which can be used by skiers and snowboarders independently and free of charge. The lift operators also offer an introductory course on request. Powder hounds should consider contacting the Drei Zinnen ski school for guided freeride tours and avalanche training.
