The first thing you should know about Saas-Fee is that the resort is car-free. If you arrive to Saas-Fee, you have to leave your car at the big parking garage at the entrance of the village. To get the luggage to the accommodation, they offer shuttle services. So in the terminals in the parking garage you can unload, call your hotel and then you will be picked up with small transport cars. With the guest card, the parking rate is reduced. There is also a shuttle bus that takes day guests from the parking lot to the valley station.
The slope and snow conditions in Saas-Fee are at a top level. Since the ski area is in the shade for quite a long time, the slopes are also in a very good condition throughout the day. In Saas-Fee there are mainly gondola lifts, on the glacier there are - as usual - drag lifts.
