Most of the ski area is too challenging for families

Saas-Fee has some nice practice slopes at the base station of the Spielboden gondola, where there are also some small carpet lifts and the ski school. The Saas-Fee ski school also offers child care including lunch. In addition to these practice slopes, the blue runs next to the Mittagshorn lift can still be recommended for beginners in alpine skiing. However, the majority of the ski area seems too demanding, especially for families with small children. Unfortunately, Saas-Fee also lacks a lovingly furnished children's park, as can be found, for example, in the nearby ski resort of Saas-Grund.

Positive to mention are the discounts on ski passes for children and teenagers. The youngest ski for free up to and including the age of 5, the children's rate is valid up to the age of 15 and adolescents receive a reduced price up to and including the age of 19.

One thing to know, a family holiday in Saas-fee costs a lot. With Skipass, accommodation and meals you have to reckon with a small fortune. SaaS-Fee, however, trumps the car's freedom, a plus point.
