    Big offer for families

The Rauriser Hochalmbahnen are quite rightly calling themselves a perfect family-friendly resort. Before you even hit the slopes, Rauris demonstrates that families with children will have nothing short of a wonderful time at the resort! Directly at the base station of the Hochalmbahn gondola, you'll find the Children's Park with a ski carousel. And what would be a Children's Park without a whimsical mascot? With the active and playful support of the fluffy owl Tilly, newcomers will get the hang of skiing in no time.

If the hard work and practice in class is starting to pay off, the 15 kilometers (9.3 mi) of blue marked terrain allow enough time for a ski day on the slopes with the entire family! Rauris accommodates three ski schools which cater to the need of ski classes in the resort. If the duration of a stay exceeds three days, the resort provides tickets at a discounted price for families. This means the third child as well as any additional child until the age of 15 can be very excited as they will receive the ticket for free!

Slopes and tickets aside, the resort has another family-friendly highlight lined up: the illuminated toboggan track for sledding fun at day and night. The top station Kreuzboden will be the starting point of your sleigh adventure and your tour ends back down in the valley.
