Review Rauris: Beginner Skiing

About half of the kilometers in the resort are marked as blue, which means beginners and returnees have a wonderful selection to practice and get back into shape. However, snowboarders should keep in mind that there could be flat sections from time to time where you might need to take off your equipment. There are three ski schools available in Rauris, meaning beginners and newcomers of all ages and levels can master skiing or snowboarding getting all the professional help they need. Near the base station of the Hochalm beginners have a large area all to themselves for practice and getting to know the sport. The designated beginners area includes two t-bar lifts and two easy training hills. Another highlight awaits at the same base station: an exciting Children's Park with its very own ski carousel – perfect for giving the youngsters a better understanding of skiing while having fun! The easiest way to reach most of the blue marked areas is via gondolas, which is another big plus for inexperienced skiers and boarders.
