The best half pipe in Australia!

The “Australian New Zealand Snowboarding Magazine 2006” awarded the PSP Superpipe, shaped right above Perisher Valley Alpine Village, the best half pipe in Australia. This is not really surprising when you have a look at the fast facts on this gigantic half pipe. A length of 95m, 16m broad and 7m deep, the pipe belongs to the most impressive half pipes in the world. Not far from the PSP Superpipe, the PSP Terrain Park awaits the best snowboarders and freeskiers. This terrain park offers huge jumps, boxes and some pretty demanding rails. There are two more terrain parks at Perisher Blue. The Garnier Fructis Terrain Park is designed for advanced freestylers and can be found next to Leichhardt chairlift. However the so-called Columbia Funpark is a perfect playground for less skilled boarders and skiers. Anyhow Perisher Blue features a dazzling array of easy slopes, and is the place to be for all first timers on snowboard.
