Three New Lifts and Three New Runs
Kronplatz is making a major infrastructure investment ahead of the 2026/27 winter season. The 10-person Kronplatz 1+2 gondola is being replaced with a modern Leitner lift capable of carrying up to 3,250 people per hour — and for the first time, skis can be brought right into the cabin. The 8-person Ruis gondola is also being renewed, with a new lift offering a capacity of 3,600 people per hour. On top of that, a brand-new 8-seater chairlift, the Dolomiti, is being built from scratch, featuring heated seats and a capacity of 3,000 people per hour.
On the slopes, the red Lumen run is being extended to roughly 2.7 kilometers and linked to the old mid-station via the new blue Weiden ski route. In addition, the roughly 1.5-kilometer blue Dolomiti run adds an appealing new option for beginners and leisure-focused skiers.

The Ski Resort
Once you made it up to summit of Kronplatz you are spoilt for choice because you can head in three different directions. There are plenty of lower runs where beginners can cruise along comfortably at Geiselberg, almost all trails are blue here. Exceptions are No. 21-23, those are marked red and are ideal for those who have already gained a little bit of knowledge. The easy runs are so close that you can easily hop between them so you don´t be scared to accidentally hit a difficult one.
Intermediate skiers and boarders find runs going all directions. However, if you decide to go to Reischach be aware that you need expert skills because you can only get there by taking two blacks (No. 1 and 4). So beginners may want to steer clear of this direction and decide for an other one. If you want to enjoy a really long slope, pick No. 16 that descends right into Percha.
Get your unique souvenir from the ski vacation at Kronplatz on the ski movie slope and the photo point. Register with your valid ski pass and film your own ski movie or take great pictures in front of the Alp panorama. Afterwards you can easily download it.
If you are a freestyle fan choose between two parks: the Easy Park and Jip Park. The Easy Park is below the Belverdere top station and features an area of 18.000 qm (193750 square ft). This one makes every freestyler´s heart race faster: kickers, boxes, rails and much more. Access the 6000 qm (64583 square ft) Jib Park from the trail Korer. Most of the features are specially designed for kids and beginners.
Little ones find quite a few kids parks so boredom is never a topic on a ski day at Kronplatz. Look for the amazing kids areas that are for example at the Kronplatz summit and the base station of Bruneck/ Reischach.
