      Recommendable ski school programmes!

It is recommendable to drop off the kids at the local ski schools if the parents are skilled skiers. The ski school is located right across the “Lift Ticket Office” close to the base of the “River Run Gondola”. Only 19 % of Keystone’s terrain is of easy level whereas 49 % are of very difficult level. Children would need lots of skill and experience to master the difficult terrain at the “North Peak” and “The Outback”. We recommend parents to drop off the kids at the ski school for half a day and then spend the other half together on the intermediate terrain at “Dercum Mountain”. As aforementioned the terrain at the back of the resort is less family friendly, however Keystone offers lots of fun filled family activities. How about snow-tubing at the “Adventure Point” located at the peak of “Dercum Mountain”, or guided tours with snow-bikes, or simply discover the Rockies on cross country skis! Information on the best outdoor activities for families can be obtained at the “Adventure Center” in “Lakeside Village” (see trial map).
