The Gitschberg Jochtal ski area is located at a snow-reliable altitude (around 1,400–2,500 m) and, with its 55 kilometers of slopes, offers excellent conditions for consistent skiing days.
Around 95% of the slopes can be covered with artificial snow. The resort operates approximately 240 snow cannons and large water reservoirs in both the Jochtal and Gitschberg areas to ensure continuous snowmaking.
Thanks to its altitude and snowmaking system, even the valley run is usually open.
