There are some off-piste and powder areas, especially around Jochtal, that can be interesting for experienced skiers.
Important: Freeriding outside secured slopes is not particularly encouraged in South Tyrol and is also monitored. Therefore, freeride options here are mostly limited to areas between the pistes or designated zones.
