Many practice areas and a kids slope

Bad Kleinkirchheim also has a convincing offer in this category. The practice areas for children at the base stations Kaiserburgbahn, Maierbrunnbahn and the Brunnach gondola offer very good conditions for children with a magic carpet and practice lift. While parents can enjoy the abundance of red slopes, the youngest are looked after here by the ski school. A highlight for the little ones is also the Kids Slope at the Sonnleiten lift in St. Oswald.

However, those who want to explore the ski area further together with the children will quickly notice that a certain level of skiing ability is already required due to the lack of blue slopes. Only the small area around the top station of the Nockalm gondola offers two short easy slopes (15 and 18). Another highlight are certainly the thermal baths "St. Kathrein" and "Römerbad", where you can relax after an extensive day of skiing. In addition, there are several toboggan runs and the year-round alpine coaster Kaiserburg Bob. All in all, a very good vacation destination for families, with the only drawback that there are rather few blue slopes.
