Two freestyle parks and endless off-slope fun!

To make a long story short, Arapahoe Basin receives almost a perfect rating of four and a half out of a possible five stars in the snowboarding category. For expert snowboarding we could easily give them a perfect score. But if you’re still learning to snowboard or you’re just not yet quite brave enough to throw yourself down the difficult deep-snow terrains, you might wish you had a few more runs to choose from. Freestylers, on the other hand, will find everything they’ve ever wished for: a freestyle park has been constructed with some boxes and rails which are best suited for beginner freestylers. The Treeline Terrain Park over the Black Mountain Lodge, however, is better suited for boarders and freestylers that aren’t afraid to take some bigger jumps. At almost 12,000 feet, the Treeline Terrain Park is the highest-elevated snowboard freestyle park in America and is open every year until June. The only thing we didn’t find in A-Basin was a half-pipe. If you like deep snow terrain, your possibilities are endless on Pallavicini and in the Montezuma Bowl.
