Unforgettable live act with a stunning backdrop of mountains
Alicia Keys is a pop, soul and R&B singer, producer, songwriter and actor (she has been seen in films such as "Smokin´ Aces" and "The Nanny Diaries"): a real all-round star. The 28-year-old has already won an incredible twelve Grammy Awards for her musical achievements. Born in Manhattan, New York, in 1981, the artist is the daughter of a Jamaican flight attendant and an Irish-Scots musical singer with an Italian background. After her parents separated, Alicia was brought up by her mother in New York´s Hell´s Kitchen neighbourhood, which was to have a lasting effect on her. When she was 16, Alicia Keys left high school early and signed a record contract for a demo. She didn´t have to wait long for success: Her debut album "Songs in A Minor", which was released in the summer of 2001, achieved enormous success in the charts - selling over 25 million copies - and brought her five Grammys. All of her five albums have made it to number 1 in the US Billboard Charts - a real record, as she is the first female R&B artist to achieve this in the USA. Alicia Keys released her long-awaited new album at the end of 2009: "The Element of Freedom". All her fans who come to Ischgl can look forward to hearing her brand new hits live!
