Not only the brand Atomic itself, but also athletes like Marcel Hirscher, Marco Schwarz or Mikaela Shiffrin are on the road to success with Atomic skis. The company was founded in 1955 in Wagrain, Austria. The first ski produced by Atomic was named SL1, which can still be found in the manufacturer's racing series today.

The Austrian brand Fischer is also popular. In 1924 the company was founded in Ried im Innkreis. The former wainwright's business quickly developed into a successful ski manufacturer. Since then Fischer has developed into a global brand and is now a leader in the alpine and cross-country skiing sector, thanks to its innovations. Athletes like Mario Matt, Kathrin Hölzl or Vincent Kriechmayr went on Fischer skis to success.

The Vorarlberg-based manufacturer Kästle has also been active in the production of winter sports articles since 1924. After glorious years with Olympic champions such as Toni Sailer and Pirmin Zurbriggen, the brand disappeared surprisingly from the market in 1998. Since 2007 Kästle is back with new investors and develops new construction technologies from racing for the allmountain sector.

In 1994, Völkl was a pioneer in carving skis: at the ISPO, Völkl introduced the Snow Ranger with its deep sidecuts and revolutionized the ski world.

The Swiss brand Stöckli looks back on more than 80 years of history. What began in the middle of the 1930s as a ski manufacture for the company's own needs is now the only remaining ski factory in Switzerland. With innovations such as the first compound and plastic ski in 1965 and years of experience, Stöckli now offers a wide range that also convinces top athletes such as Viktoria Rebensburg.
