The new models for the 2025/2026 season were put to the test at the WorldSkitest. Here’s a look at the skis that stood out the most.

The WorldSkitest 2025/26 took place in the stunning Hohe Tauern National Park region in Heiligenblut at the foot of Großglockner. On perfectly groomed slopes, this category once again proved its outstanding level of quality: three models were awarded the highest rating, “excellent,” led by the outstanding Fischer. The remaining competitors also impressed with very good to good ratings.

Target Group: athletic to highly athletic female skiers seeking precision, dynamism, and maximum control.

With an outstanding score of 46.5 points, the Fischer RC4 ST WS takes a commanding victory – a true statement! This Austrian ski impresses with top marks in every discipline and shows no noticeable weaknesses. Whether you're carving long, smooth turns or making short, dynamic direction changes – this ski delivers across the board. Its maximum stability combined with excellent edge grip and remarkable smoothness make it the undisputed champion in this category.

The icing on the cake: In the SnowStyle Design Contest, the RC4 ST WS also claims the bronze medal. A performance powerhouse with eye-catching looks – an absolute must-buy!

With an impressive 42.2 points and a rating of “excellent,” the Nordica Belle SL DC FDT secures second place. This Italian model stands out with an exceptionally well-balanced performance that left a lasting impression on our testers. It combines precision and agility with remarkable smoothness and remains stable even at higher speeds. One major highlight: it requires very little effort to ski – ideal for long days on the mountain. A clear recommendation!

The third spot on the podium goes to the Völkl Shine SC, earning an impressive 40.4 points. This German-made ski delivers strong performance across the board, with edge grip being a standout strength. Its smooth, stable ride combined with moderate effort makes both long and short turns a real pleasure. Perfect for ambitious skiers who value safety, versatility, and confidence on the slopes.
