Miller wins super combined globe

American Bode Miller is on a roll. Miller won the super combined event in Val d´Isere (FRA) and took home the small globe for the super combined World Cup. It was his third consecutive win in this specialty after he won in Kitzbuehel and Chamonix.

Two Croatians on the podium
With the win Miller increased his lead in the Overall World Cup and is now ahead by more than 100 points. His main rival Benjamin Raich was 6th and lost some ground. In the super combined in Val d´Isere, two Croatians were on the podium for the first time in the World Cup history. Ivica Kostelic came in 2nd ahead of surprising Natko Zrncic-Dim who was third.

Cuche far behind
4th place went to Austria’s Rainer Schoenfelder ahead of Ales Gorza from Slovenia. Jean-Baptiste Grange was going for another podium but skied out in the slalom. It was a disappointing day for Didier Cuche from Switzerland who came in only in 27th place after losing surprisingly much time in the downhill.
