Loveland Ski Area is celebrating 75 years of skiing and snowboarding with giveaways, deals and an Anniversary Party on January 12, 2013

Established in 1937, Loveland Ski Area is the second oldest ski area in Colorado. To commemorate the inaugural season, full day adult lift tickets will be just $37 for the weekend of January 12th & 13th and group lesson packages for ages 6 and above will be available for just $75.

In addition, on Saturday, January 12th, Loveland Ski Area will be providing free hot chocolate and coffee for all guests, free lunch for all season pass holders, birthday cake for all guests, and an apres party with live music and drink specials on Tommyknocker´s 75th anniversary brew, the Pine Bough Pale Ale, brewed with pine needles handpicked from the slopes of Loveland to celebrate this historic season.

"Loveland Ski Area has come a long way since 1937 and we want to thank our customers for supporting us through the years," said Rob Goodell, director of business operations. "For 75 years Loveland has been all about the skiing and riding experience and that will continue to be our focus for the next 75 years. We look forward to celebrating this historic milestone with our guests this season and invite everyone to come experience all that Loveland has to offer as we celebrate our 75th Anniversary season."

On weekends, holidays and a few random days throughout the year, Loveland will be surprising guests with giveaways themed around the 75th Anniversary. Prizes will include lift tickets, lunch, season passes, gear, lessons and more.

Icelantic Skis created a custom 75th Anniversary top sheet for their Nomad RKR and Oracle and these limited edition skis are available in The Loveland Sport Shop. Loveland Ski Area will be giving away a pair of these commemorative skis on Saturday, January 12th during the 75th Anniversary party. Anyone can enter to win for no cost at skiloveland.com.
