One day after she withdrew from the downhill race in Aspen Nicole Hosp won the slalom in the Rockies by beating Tanja Poutiainen from Finland who was 1,19 seconds behind the Austrian. In third place in the end was Kathrin Zettel with 1.34 seconds behind.
Schild goes out
The Olympic Champion Hosp replaced Marlies Schild in front of the slalom World Cup standings. Schild on the other hand didn´t finish the slalom on Sunday. After the first run Poutiainen was in first place but Hosp showed an impressive run in the final. Therese Borssen came in 4th in the end with slalom World Champion Sarka Zahrobska following as 5th.
