Product Summary
The ski in details
The ultra-versatile, high-tech all-mountain racer – perfect for high speeds.
The Master edition of the Deacon 76 with tip and tail rocker offers riders a contrasting dimension of direct steering and tip response. With an ash core (which is usually reserved for our World Cup models), two layers of Titanal with 3D.Glass and a tailored carbon tip, this ski is packed with the collective expertise of Völkl’s engineers. The tailored carbon tip produces an extremely direct and reliable tip response. The carbon fibres are positioned differently on each model and laid down at particular angles, which allows each length of ski to be tuned precisely to the needs of a highly ambitious, aggressive yet effortless riding style. The Deacon 76 Master is available in lengths of 171 cm, 176 cm and 181 cm and offers a highly competitive but at the same time playful skiing experience at high speeds with a maximum of creativity. For maximum performance, the skis also come with a pre-mounted 10 mm Marker World Cup plate.
Technologies
3D.Glass
Compared to classic glass constructions the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the tip and in the tail area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns.
Base P-Tex 4504
A sintered, ultra-high molecular polyethylene base with an extremely high density.
Full Sidewall
Direct and strong powertransmission with full length sidewalls.
Full Sidewall ABS
The specific synthetic substance of the entire sidewall enables a precise and direct power transfer.
Full Titanal
The titanium setup makes the ski agile and dynamic. Especially friends of a hard, fast and aggressive riding style benefit from the quick response of this construction.
Marker Worldcup Plate
High-speed racing like the pros. Thanks to Piston Control, an integrated hydraulic oil piston, even the smallest bit of energy is converted into speed. Of course the interface is compatible with the Race X-cell bindings.
Tailored Carbon Tips
In this innovative manufacturing process the new Tailored Carbon Tips are produced by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material.
Tip & Tail Rocker
Character: Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle.
Woodcore
Special PU construction with a wooden core in the ski body.
Worldcup Ash Woodcore
While the ski flexes when initiating the turn, the fibers stretch and absorb the tension energy. At the exit of the turn, this accumulated energy is released, giving the ski a lively feel.
