Völkl BMT 90 (Backcountry Touring Ski 2023/2024)

Product Summary

Due to its lighweight construction the Völkl BMT 90 is easy to handle not only downhill but also during longer ascents. The Völkl BMT 90's full retail price is €850. The Ski costs roughly €240 more than the average price of all Backcountry Touring Skis, making it a real luxury Ski. The ski is very smooth and forgiving. It's the perfect tool for intermediate skiers. The BMT 90 is a more off-piste oriented ski which rides great in deep powder. Thanks to its versatility however, it is also fun on groomers from time to time. The ski is available from 163 to 184cm.

The ski in details

The BMT with the biggest range of use in the line for the traditionally oriented touring skier.

The model with the biggest range of use in the line. The impressively light BMT 90 is predestined for the more traditionally oriented touring skier as the camber under the boot delivers more pressure on the ground resulting in a better ski steering while hiking up or skiing down. The BMT 90 brings huge versatility to skiers looking for a light weight setup capable of long tours that can also ski the whole mountain in bounds in a variety of conditions. Its full carbon jacket construction makes the ski smooth and stable, while tip & tail rocker with camber under foot deliver liveliness and maneuverability.
