The Italian company Nordica, based in Treviso, is part of the Tecnica Group. The company was founded in 1939 by the brothers Adriano and Oddone Vaccari, originally with the intention of producing leisure shoes. After the war, Nordica reoriented to focus on skis, mountaineering and Nordic skiing boots.
In the 1970s, the company grew to become market leader in the field of winter sports boots and exported to all the world’s top winter sports destinations.
