Nordica Santa Ana 98 (All Mountain Ski 2023/2024)

Product Summary

Skilled skiers will enjoy both relaxed cruising and pushing the ski to its limit. The Santa Ana 98 is a more off-piste oriented ski which rides great in deep powder. Thanks to its versatility however, it is also fun on groomers from time to time. Available lengths for the ski are ranging between 151 and 179cm. The ski is very agile and performs well in all sizes of turn radius - both long and short. The radius ranges from 13.40 m to 17.30 m (depending on the length of the ski).

The ski in details

If you’re looking for a wider all mountain ski that can carve groomers and give you confidence in fresh snow, the Santa Ana 98 is the perfect choice. This new ski reimagines what’s possible while building on the legendary performance and versatility of the Santa Ana collection. Thanks to a fresh construction that pairs a wood core with carbon and a sheet of terrain-specific metal, the Santa Ana 98 offers a ride that’s especially smooth and stable. This design also reduces weight and enhances edge hold and response to inspire confidence and keep you in control. Whether ducking in the trees on a powder day or skiing groomers with friends, the Santa Ana 98 allows you to ski everywhere with confidence.

True Tip
By trimming the amount of heavy ABS plastic in the tip and extending the lightweight wood core into this area with a taper that further reduces weight, we enhanced playfulness and maneuverability of the ski without compromising that unmatchable feeling of powerful and control. The next generation is upon us.

  • Lighter
  • Smoother
  • More maneuverable

Terrain Specific Metal
By adding the same shaped metal plate inside the skis, it increases proportionately with the decrease of the last. Trough this technology, we were able to design unique constructions better suited for different terrain. The narrower Santa Ana have more power and stability on trail, while the wider constructions are more enjoyable off-piste and on softer snow.

  • Lighter with metal dampening
  • Stability where you need it
  • Playfulness where you want it

Base Graphic Explained
The running base design has a specific geometric shape to show two features of the ski: A horizontal cut indicates where the rocker starts. The intersection of the diagonal cut with the edge shows the widest point of sidecut for full engagement of the edge.
