Blizzard Rustler 9 (Powder Ski 2025/2026)

Product Summary

The Blizzard Rustler 9's full retail price is 650 €. The Ski is roughly 30 € cheaper than the average price of all Powder Skis, making it a mid-range model. Skilled skiers will enjoy both relaxed cruising and pushing the ski to its limit. The Rustler 9 is a more off-piste oriented ski which rides great in deep powder. Thanks to its versatility however, it is also fun on groomers from time to time. Available lengths for the ski are ranging between 162 and 186cm. The ski is very agile and performs well in all sizes of turn radius - both long and short. The radius ranges from 14 m to 18 m (depending on the length of the ski).

The ski in details

Most days are not perfect powder days -- those are Rustler 9 days.

The Rustler 9 is an everyday ski for whatever throws your way. When it’s not blower conditions, this ski is an easy grab. It lights up on chundery, choppy, and icy days. This ski is nimble and predictable, it responds to power with power, and its platform welcomes airs. Don’t hesitate to roll the Rustler 9 up on edge, too, because this ski carves like a dream. Most days aren’t powder days, which means most days are Rustler 9 days.

TRUEBLEND FREE WOODCORE
PERFECT BALANCED FLEX
Billard has designed a specific Trueblend Free Woodcore for their freeride / back country category skis. It combines beech and poplar – two wood types that guarantee performance – with paulownia for a lightweight, yet high-performance wood core. The result: the right flex to cover for all backcountry requirements in a lighter package.

PERFORMANCE WITHOUT COMPROMISES
The Trueblend Free Woodcore specifically positions three different densities of wood together to form a woodcore that is specifically designed to optimize the flex of the ski and deliver a smooth and balanced feeling.
This blending of the different densities of wood creates three distinct flex zones; a softer flex zone in the tip and tail areas, that facilitates easy turn initiation and release, a medium flex zone in front of and behind the binding, that helps deliver confidence and control and finally a stiffer flex zone in the center, underneath the binding, that guarantees perfect edge grip and stability. Trueblend woodcores are designed to provide just the right amount what you need, performance, control, and confidence, to do what you want, when you want anywhere on the mountain.

FLUXFORM FREERIDE
The FluxForm is designed to work in perfect combination with the Trueblend Wood Core. As its core construction the FluxForm is specifically sized for each model. Tapered on the tips for perfect floating and wider on the tail for more support during fast turn in powder and landing from cliff.
