Blizzard Rustler 9 (Powder Ski 2022/2023)

Product Summary

The Blizzard Rustler 9's full retail price is €550. The Ski is roughly €130 cheaper than the average price of all Powder Skis, making it a mid-range model. This ski is just right for good skiers. Stable but not overpowering. The Rustler 9 is a more off-piste oriented ski which rides great in deep powder. Thanks to its versatility however, it is also fun on groomers from time to time. The ski is available from 164 to 188cm. The ski is very agile and performs well in all sizes of turn radius - both long and short. The radius ranges from 14 m to 18.50 m (depending on the length of the ski).

The ski in details

The narrowest of the Rustler series, the Rustler 9 is a freeride ski that doesn’t require a big powder day to do its job. It’s founded on two signature concepts: Carbon Flipcore D.R.T Technology and an innovative waist design. The longer the ski, the wider the waist which gives freeriders and freeride athletes more control and float, even on steep terrain. The smooth rocker-camber-rocker profile make it responsive and stable, yet super playful in softer snow and on any type of terrain. From sending spicy lines to transitioning through variable terrain and ripping groomers back to the bottom, the Rustler 9 will eat up any challenge you throw at it and come back for seconds.

Ski review Blizzard Rustler 9

At the 2022/2023 WorldSkitest the skis in the category „Freeride under 100mm“ were closely evaluated at Kals. Tester’s opinion: "Just barely missing the "Excellent", the "Rustler 9" excels in short turns and through its maneuverability. In addition to the very good ratings, the attractive price is a significant selling point for the "Blizzard". A very balanced model with which rapid turns become a real pleasure and saves energy."
