Product Summary
The ski in details
Atomic Backland 85 is the perfect all-round ski for touring, with a specific shape for climbing and HRZN Tech for great flotation in fresh snow.
A wildly lightweight and versatile ski designed for all-round ski touring, Backland 85 is built with Atomic’s Ultra Light Woodcore construction, keeping it nice and light for uphill climbing. Further reducing weight, the Carbon Backbone runs the length of the ski like a backbone, providing exceptional agility and stable edge grip on the descent. Specifically shaped underfoot to allow for easier travel when climbing, especially on longer traverses, the All Mountain Rocker profile and HRZN Tech in the tip allow the ski to float in fresh snow and charge through chop and crud with less tip deflection. The cut-out notch in the tips makes transitioning the pre-fit skins from Atomic a snap.
