If you want a balanced touring ski for all your touring days then Atomic Backland 85 is your stick – light for climbing, floaty in powder but also strong and edgy enough for getting you there and back. Inside you’ve got an Ultra Light Woodcore made from poplar/caruba and the ski is shaped for an easy hike and safe grip, especially on longer traverses. Then you’ve got HRZN Tech Tips with 10% more surface area for awesome floatation in powder plus less tip deflection and better tracking through chop. Extra stability comes from carbon fibers along the ski – allowing you to lay down the power on and off piste. We also offer pre-fit skins to match.
