The German low mountain range ski resort Willingen features fun for the whole family on about 16 kilometers (10 miles) skiable terrain. The downhills are perfect for beginners and intermediates, seven kilometers are designated as blues and nine kilometers are red. About half of the skiing kilometers are covered with snowmaking facilities. Hence, even if mother nature isn´t working along, you´ll still have plenty of skiing trails left. Skiers and boarders will appreciate that trail activities doesn´t have to end after lift closing times. A total of six kilometers is lighted at night. Altogether 16 lifts are free to your disposal and bring you up and down the mountain.

Little ones can enjoy the kids parks of the local ski schools. Specially trained instructors will help kids to find their ski legs pretty quick. The magic carpets, ski tows and ski carousel add even more fun to the learning process.
Freestylers won´t miss out either. A terrain park that is on the smaller side but still boasts a ton of boxes and kickers. You are welcome to go crazy!

The ski resort Willingen is the center of Viessmann Winterparks Willingen in the region of Sauerland. The surrounding towns Usseln and Schwalefeld give you additional ski runs and cross-country ski runs.
