The Ski Resort

Timber Ridge Ski Area is a great family ski area in southern Michigan that opened in 1961 with only one rope tow. Today it offers 20 hectares of skiable terrain with mainly easiest and intermediate trails. The trail´s names are based on trees. However, you will also find 3 trails named after Timber Ridge´s first volunteers. The Ski School offers lessons for both ski and snowboard, children and adults. The Family Learn To Ski & Snowboard program is especially recommendable as families can learn together in a group. And even if you don´t want to ski or ride you can have loads of fun at Timber Ridge! The ski area has its own snowtubing hill. Jump on your tube and get thrilled! Moreover, Timber Ridge is a great place for freestylers. It offers three terrain parks, Timber Park, Pumpkin Park and a Mini Rail Park for kids. While Timber Park offers features for more experienced skiers and riders, Pumpkin Park is desgined for those who want to learn and test new tricks. You also shouldn´t miss the yearly winterfest with numerous activities and attractions!
