The Ski Resort
Standing Rocks is part of Portage County Park and is located approximately 10 km east of Plover/Stevens Point, Wisconsin. During the skiing season, the resort is open every weekend. There are 5 slopes spread over two beginner's hills, a medium slope and two slopes with more difficult slopes. Due to the different levels of difficulty of the slopes, the ski area is also suitable for families and beginners. Three drag lifts take you up to the top station.
In the Standing Rocks ski resort there are 15 km of Cross Country tracks available. There are many hills and long distances. Therefore, the majority of the trails are labeled intermediate and expert trails. Yet, when you´re a little experienced you will have a great time on Standing Rocks´ trails.
